Workshop description

By popular demand this workshop is following on from the Foundational lowercase class.

The three hour class will concentrate on the classic Roman proportions of each letter, family groups of letters, variation in pen angle for particular letters, analysis of the stroke
sequence for letters, with the basic skeleton of each letters, the pen letters and serifed
letters to finish with.

If you always wanted to master these pen forms now is the time.

Kit required​

Sharpened 2H pencil
30cm ruler
180’ protractor
Right angled set square
2mm and 3mm Brause/William Mitchell nibs and nib holder
Pointed nib and holder
Bleedproof A4 layout pad 50-80gsm
Eraser
Bottle of Walnut ink
Water container 
Notepad
