In this workshop, we will be using predominately the Pentel Art Brush pens to create lettering that can be used for a variety of purposes. They are known for their flexibility and ability to create both thin and thick lines, which is essential for this brush script workshop.
The lettering techniques you will learn can be applied to many different projects, such as greeting cards, posters, invitations, and more.
The Brush Script often looks intricate and lively due to the varying line thickness and fluid strokes, but it is relatively easy to do once you understand the principles behind the techniques. Despite its appearance, brush script is not too difficult once you grasp the basic principles, which include understanding pressure and release control and mastering the basic strokes.
