TEN YEARS AGO, IN SYDNEY’S OLYMPIC year, the ASC presented the Spirit of the Pen — the first ever national calligraphy exhibition. That exhibition embodied our pride in being Australian and captured our love of our country.  Now, after 10 years, the ASC is pleased to announce a new exhibition in 2010.

English heraldic artist, calligrapher and author Tim is visiting us over this August weekend to conduct a workshop for an Australian Bestiary (see March Colophon) — Australian beasts in heraldic and formal work.

If you missed out on a place at this workshop, or want to hear about and see the latest in heraldic work, this is too good an opportunity to miss. His talks will entertain and lure you into this fascinating side of calligraphy.
