If you are interested in joining the Australian Society of Calligraphers, or if you would like more information, contact our President, Secretary or Membership Secretary, or print a membership form and post it to the address shown on the form. click here for membership form As a member, you will receive our quarterly magazine Colophon which highlights lettering arts news, articles and calligraphic works from both Australia and overseas. You also receive reduced rates to attend workshops for calligraphic and related topics, and can participate in special 'members only' workshops, usually held with visiting overseas tutors. Opportunities exist to exhibit and participate in both small displays and large exhibitions on a regular basis, and we offer frames 'on loan' to members to display their works. You may aspire to join the ASC Guild, or pursue a selective area of study from ancient writing styles, illumination, Celtic mysteries to modern methods and techniques. The ASC supports and encourages all members to fulfill their calligraphic aspirations. |
